All
members of Cornwall Hospital Broadcasting Network must
be aged 18 or over. |
|
|
All
work at CHBN is voluntary. |
|
|
Unfortunately
we do not currently offer short-term work experience
placements. |
|
|
Due to
the Time and Resources required to process applications
and train new members, we usually require our volunteers
to be able to commit for at least 2 Years to our organisation. |
|
|
Our
primary aim is to relieve the stress and boredom of
the patients within the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust.
Whilst you may gain experience within our charity which
may benefit your personal development, we require 100%
commitment to achieving the above aim, whilst you are
volunteering with CHBN. |

|
In order to protect both our
own volunteers and the hospital patients, it is the Royal
Cornwall Hospital Trust's policy to carry out Reference,
Occupational Health and Criminal Record Bureau checks
on all Volunteers wishing to work within the hospital.
