This week CHBN Radio starts a new series called TRURO TALK. As the name suggests this is a talk show, which is something of a departure for CHBN, and indicates a subtle change of direction for the station which is aiming to make a greater effort to reach out to the life and the community of the City of Truro.
TRURO TALK will be an informal 'round table' discussion show touching and focussing on different topics each month, some serious, some less so. Those on the programme will be some of the regular CHBN presenters from across our schedule, with other invited guests providing expert opinion from time to time.
The programme will air on the second Thursday of each month with the first show going out tomorrow, 10th October at 11.00am, and repeated in the evening at 7.00pm.
The first show is a special introductory programme in which we turn the spotlight on ourselves, with Mike Brown, Jason Moyle and Dieter Kehler talking about the station, its history and its hopes and plans for the future in an evolving radio scene.
If you're unable to listen to the programme go out on air it will also be available on-demand as a podcast at http://anchor.fm/trurotalk
