Mike Brown and Mark Webster

Programme News

Starting next Saturday morning you can hear Mark Webster and Mike Brown together for the first time as they try very hard to entertain you with great Saturday morning music and their struggles not to talk over each other as they attempt to broadcast at the same time from their own respective home studios know as Venus Falls and Saturn Swings. This programme will either prove to be a great technical achievement or a disgraceful broadcasting disaster. Tune in on Saturday morning to find out which.

CHBN Shortlisted in National Awards

CHBN have made the shortlist in two categories for the National Hospital Radio Awards 2023.
The station has made the Top 10 shortlist in the categories of "Station of the Year" and "Best Station Promotion" (for our Listener Survey promo). This shows that the station is amongst one of the best in the country.
Some of the team will be travelling to Bolton for the Awards Ceremony in March to see if they pick up Bronze, Silver or Gold in any of the categories. The awards are held as part of the Hospital Broadcasting Association national conference.
