New Series: Reel to Reel

‘In Reel Life, Past and Present’ is an exciting new three-part series for CHBN presented by Chris Robins and produced by Steve Foster. Chris based his show on some archived interviews from around Cornwall. He revisited the people and places featured, to compare and contrast life in 2024 with the original recordings.

In the first two programmes Chris takes a trip down the river Fal. He revisits the museum at Trolver Cottage near the King Harry ferry, recalling oyster fishing in the river and the Schooners which sailed into the heart of Truro. In the third programme Chris visits Charlestown and Pentewan to learn about their fascinating histories.
